State of the fan base
|
I've gotta admit, I still love my team, but I use to be way more passionate about them. All this losing and the blowouts takes its toll.
I'm a Jags fan from Miami. Me, my dad, and brother got season tickets back in 2008. We've been driving up for all the home games since then. We usually end up selling the tickets by December when we realize it's a waste to make the trip to these games just watch them lose and lose badly. It's rough. I think the last time we saw a home win was maybe three years ago when they beat the Ravens on Monday night. It sucks, man. Making an 11 hour drive like that just to be letdown every time... it gets tiring and old. We're still going to the home opener this weekend, but I can't even say I'm excited. |
