It hasn't killed fan support yet. If there's a way to charge for the broadcast, don't think it's not being explored by the league. There are clearly enough people out there willing to pay for the privilege of watching games. Look at what DirecTV just ponied up to renew their hold over the ticket. $1.4 billion annually? They're still making money.
