As I said in a previous post....IMO what helped make that audible's result so disastrous was that the defense pretty much knew by that point that if it was an audible to a pass that they could just defend it short since 90% of the passes since the long early INT that game were of the short variety. They knew where the ball was going probably before Bortles even threw it. If the playcalling hadn't been that predictable up until that point maybe the audible's result wouldn't have ended so disastrously. |
