The improvements have been small (I updated the run game totals, which were miscalculated), still we're doing a little better than last year.  It's not enough -- but keeping in mind that most of our upgrades are rookies, I expect we'll have a better idea of where this team is after week 8.  I don't think 5 games is a great sample size.

 

The telling thing though, is how we're doing in 1st downs.  Especially considering that 1st downs were incredibly rare in the Washington game.  We had just 8 first downs in the Washington game.  We didn't have fewer than 12 all of last year.  With Bortles in, our 1st down numbers have gone up.  The Redskins game was absolutely abhorrent.  It'll take a few games to offset it.  Which is why I think we'll have a better idea in week 8 or 9 as to how much this team has improved.
