Why does our offense only look competent on the first drive?

We can complain about the shorter passes in this game, but we don't have a running game, and that is the only way we're going to open up the deeper passing game.
Since Bortles threw for 330+ (ran for 40), I'd argue that Fisch wasn't the problem this week. One less INT, one less fumble, or better blocking (no blocked kick), and we're talking about a win here. Those mistakes are on the players. |
