Why Bortles' INTs Are Nothing To Panic About
|
While I'm fairly certain that most of my fellow posters on this board haven't let this issue hinder their faith in BB, I'm just going to Clear up some things in regards to Bortles' issues protecting the football.
Turnovers are never good. No matter what. Nothing is worse than giving an opposing team a free possession, especially when it leads to points. Also, they are ugly to our rookie QBs stats, nobody wants to see a high number of INTs on a Qbs stat-line. However, I think it's refreshing to have a guy like Blake, who isn't afraid to take shots and make the defense second guess him. Sure, he has made some pretty bad reads, but it's all because he's not giving up on plays, not getting scared or just accepting the 3 and out (like Henne and Gabbert used to) I'm not sure about you guys, but i would way rather have a QB that throws a pick trying to make something happen instead of dumping it off for 2 yards or just taking the sack Bortles will get better, much better. Don't give up on the kid so soon We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
