JW- your comment about it being "sunny in Foxboro" couldn't be further from the truth. It was dark by the 2nd half, windy with about a 42 degree temperature but a 30 degree wind chill. It was flat out nasty here. We even got an inch or so of snow around Noon.

 

The Patriots actually ended the near-perfect season 18-1 with that Super Bowl loss, not 17-1.

 

I think a lot of people on here might have forgotten that the Jags were actually one of those wins for the Pats, the 17th win to be exact.

 

The Jags played the Pats in the Divisional rd (2nd rd) of the playoffs AND were actually tied 14-14 at the half, before the Pats pulled away in the 2nd half and won 31-20.
