NOT saying gene was competent at all because it's his fault we never found a pass rush or an above average qb. But i dont think you can say that his rosters were any worse than this.

Again: it all comes back to the qb

Coughlin and Harris were responsible for most of the roster that got 7 or 8 wins.

Smith, after 4 years of building his roster, had created a 2-14 Juggernaut.
