Toby Gerhart: I can be 'dominant' for Jaguars

No one hates Amelia. In the interviews I've read with him, he seems like an all-around decent guy. He's just not an all-around decent football player. He's the type of guy that, if you need two yards, he'll get you one. If you need half a yard on fourth down, he'll get stuffed for a one-yard loss. Maybe a role as more of a blocker/receiver at fullback or H-back would suit him better, but as a running back, he certainly appears to be a lost cause. He's not the reason the Jaguars are 1-9, but if he were half as good as advertised and picking up even 3.5ypc, the team would be in a much better place.

If nothing else, his failure has allowed D-Rob to emerge, so that's a plus.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
