I agree with this. Bortles' dumb mistakes are a solid second place at this stage, but the lack of execution from the o-line is largely to blame. Nothing has a chance to work when they don't get it done up front. The run-blocking the past two games has regressed back to near the dismal level it held early in the season. The pass pro has never been good, save a handful of plays here and there in weeks 6-9. Most of Bortles "longish" passes have come when he was scrambling for his life.

There's a reason they say "it all starts up front." Brewster falling off of a cliff, Pasztor breaking his hand, Joeckel not coming back strong from injury and taking the necessary step forward, Beadles playing well beneath his salary, and two rookies who occasionally play exactly that way. They've got to find a way to execute like they were beginning to sporadically perform a few weeks back.
