He was what he was, a middle of the league starting level guy.

 

Not an elite for sure, not a true franchise level guy that the team doesn't think they could upgrade, just a starting level game manager.

 

You have to remember the offensive line and Taylor and MJD were playing pretty good football during his time as a starter, and it's not like he was a 4000 yard passer, ever. His career high was 3600, you know, just a few hundred more than Henne threw for as a part time starter last season.
