Do you really think a team owner would want to keep a horrible head coach just to get the #1 pick when they have a lot of other problems causing their string of losses? No way the Buccaneers keep Schiano for that purpose.

 

 

When Schiano is fired has nothing to do with being winless. His current players hate him. His former players hate him. Even coaches he hired hate him. A guy like that can't save his job by winning two games.
If everyone on the Bucs hated Schiano but they were 5-2... he would not be fired. No one cares about being liked... Its all about winning.
