Did Denver use a ZBS the year before Manning arrived? I don't think they did. If not, then Beadles had no experience as a zone blocker before he came here. I don't think Texas A&M (Joeckel) or Virginia (Linder) did either.

The only time Beadles wasn't in a zone scheme was his rookie year. That year (2010) was the only year since Shanahan took over in 1995 that the broncos hadn't run a zone blocking scheme (that also was the season that got McDaniels fired). Fox runs a zone blocking scheme.
