Poz is "absolutely" open to adding a year to his contract to lower his 2015 cap number

Quote:I understand the youth movement but personally I feel like unless Poz becomes a major liability, the chances of finding anyone significantly better are slim. Draft his heir and let him develop behind Poz.

With the cash we have I'd be fine with that too...

I honestly think that once FAs are signed by their own teams there isn't going to be a lot left for the Jags to go after.  Everyone thinks we are going to make some big splashes in Free Agency and I just don't know if it'll play out like that.  I wouldn't be suprrised at all if Caldwell keeps Poz because I don't think the money will be an issue and we can just let him play out his next 2 years.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
