however I do see your point on the similarities of Cobb and Lee.

 

Personally I think having a "vet mentor" for the WRs is over-rated and would much rather spend the money on a legit TE threat. But after Thomas the drop off in talent is big. Cameron has talent but an injury history, Clay is an H back type... Gresham has been a disappointment as a 1st round pick, but maybe he could be had kind of cheap and break out...

 

I'm not sure what the official 40 times are, but Cobb plays like a 4.5 guy while Smith looks like a 4.3 guy, his speed is evident on the field by the eye test and his career 17 YPC compared to Cobbs 13.4, I'd be ecstatic with either guy in all honesty. I'm in agreement with you that TE is a bigger need than receiver, I'd be happy with either Thomas, Cameron, or Clay, any of those guys would instantly be the best pass catching TE in Jaguar history, which is a sad thought haha.
