Beyond this it's really tough to come up with any pluses.

I don't know what other "tools" you are looking for. Blaine lacked a lot of the "feel" that you want out of your QB (its what made me really like Bridgewater coming in. His game doesn't always "wow" you, but he just shows great "feel" for the game). From a tangible standpoint, you pretty much listed everything that you'd want out of a pro QB: big, strong arm, quick release, hard worker, athletic, smart, no off-field issues.
