Outside of the Chan Gailey years, Spiller hasn't been correctly utilized with the Bills. Our old OC Nate Hackett always tried to run him up the middle. He's definitely not a between the tackles runner and needs space to be effective. If he was used right, he would have been a dynamic weapon on our offense. Sad to see him go, but it would be nice if he went someplace where he could be successful.

 

I'm not sure if there are bad feeling between Marrone and Spiller which could be an issue with you guys. There's a lot of chatter that he'll land with Jets who just signed Gailey as an OC.
