But yeah, this team has to make significant strides this year to even remotely get the fanbase feeling good about what 2016 will look like. By mid-season of this year, we'll know.

That's pretty much how I see it. It's too far of a reach for this team to be competitive for playoff's in 2015; but, it's not unreasonable to expect to see significant improvement. I guess this just begs the question;  what would the minimal amount of improvement have to be before it would be regarded as significant?

 

I tend to quantify things football by the win/loss record since football is a team sport. IMHO, I would say we must finish 2015 with not less than a 6-10 record. 6-10? (gasp!) I realize that isn't the kind of record that's going to make a lot of Jag fans happy, but for this team at this point I think it would arguably represent a 'significant improvement'. 

 

Come on Jaguars! You can do it! With a lot of work, you too can become an average, middle of the pack team. Kind'a sad when you realize that just becoming average is a significant improvement, don't you think?
