 While I agree in part of what you mentioned,   I think the difference between the two CB's is Davon House is probably a better fit on the outside,  while Walter Thurmond is probably a better fit as a Nickel CB.   

 

 It wouldn't surprise me if Davon House doesn't get the type of contract offer that jumps out.   He might be better off signing a one or two year contract,  with a team that there's a realistic opening to be a starter.   Then if things go right for House during the time frame of his new contract,   he should have much more contract leverage when he's on the verge of becoming an UFA again.   I truly believe House could surprise many people,  if he stays healthy,  focused,  and goes to a situation that's fits his skills.
