Could Brandon Marshall be the Veteran WR that the Jags sign in Free Agency?

 

He is 30 years old so he is near the of his career but he would be one heck of a slot WR.

 One major factor is the health of Brandon Marshall.   If Marshall gets a clean bill of health,   he's probably going to get a number of good offers.

 

 On the positive side,  Brandon Marshall is a weapon in traffic and in the red zone.   Even if it looks like Marshall is covered,  he ends up catching the ball often.

 

 On the negative side,  Marshall has a history of drops on passes he should bring in.   While Marshall was more mature with the Bears than prior to coming to Chicago,  I still would be concerned about having him around when things aren't going well for the team.   Especially if the Offense is struggling and he's not getting the ball.   

 

 It would make plenty of sense for the Jaguars brass to do as much research on Marshall as possible.   His versatility to be able to matchup on the outside and in the slot is something that any team can use,  providing the price is right,  his health is good,  and the personality doesn't become a negative force on the team,.
