Don't worry too much jj82284.  Playing time and learning the day to day operations as a starting QB were invaluable for plenty.  Based on the coverage we have so far, Bortels has the work ethic to get it done.  I'm not worried about him working on fundamentals.  The good ones work on fundamentals as a process to improve.
