And there lies the issue with the Otto. You want someone who can drop back and play in space but at the same time be able to spend most of his time playing on the line of scrimmage and know how to take on blockers and rush the passer.

 

A person who is experienced and qualified to do both doesn't really exist right now, he will need to be created.

 

The jags tried more traditional LBs, but they were ineffective playing on the line of scrimmage and rushing. I think they need to try an athletic 3-4 OLB and see if he can play in space and cover when needed.
