I'm a fan of both former RB's. Natrone Means was a major part of the Chargers drive to the 1994 season Super Bowl. What Means did for the Jaguars in the 1996 playoffs speaks for itself.

James Stewart seemed under appreciated with both the Jags and the Lions. In Detroit, part of why this was the case is the standard Barry Sanders set that practically no one could approach. Stewart was a vastly different type of RB but one that was productive and effective when he could stay relatively healthy. Injuries were problematic though. Stewart took plenty of punishment because he was a tall/ upright runner. Then Bills HC Gregg Williams was responsible for intentionally injuring Stewart, that ended his career in a pre-season game. This by itself is a reason why it's appalling that Gregg Williams was allowed to continue his coaching career after a one year suspension.
