The RB Situation

RB Duke Johnson from Miami (possible 3rd rounder) - 4.54 (40 time) I dont think he'll be around in the 4th though.
As bad of a disappointment as Toby Gerhart was for the Jaguars last season, and unreliable shoelace (DR) is at RB (fumbles, poor route running, dropped passes, really bad at blocking, great at burst of speed but doesnt have the ability to push thru a crowd or bounce off a tackle) I still think a combination of Robinson & Toddman would work if the Oline was better. As well as storm johnson might suprise people in his 2nd year, but I just dont see RB as a huge need like the rest of the fan base does.... i mean not worth a 1st or 2nd round thats for sure or even a 3rd round... I can see a 4th to appease, but the team really needs DBs (Safety & CB) the most and then Offensive Line before investing in a RB. If at #3 overall and DL Leonard Williams is there they have to go with him though. |
