Because QB is and always will be a higher priority. Same reason Calvin wasn't drafted #1 even though he was clearly the best player in that draft.


If Williams is available and we pass on him, that will be Daves biggest mistake ever. Every single pass rusher has numerous flaws and picking which one will be great is a crap shoot. On the flip side, Williams is so good he will eventually command double teams which will make all other players better. We need Williams because no one knows how Marks will play when he comes back and Williams would be an instant upgrade over who we have there now,
