I've been "google"ing Justin Blackmon's name for weeks, waiting to see any shred of hope that he would be coming back, and if so, would he be in football shape. After seeing the photo posted of him on Twitter, I am not very optimistic. I would think that a guy that is on the fringe of possible reinstatement would be conditioning himself to be competitive. The picture could be a little deceiving, but it appears that he has some work to do in the gym. First and foremost, I hope that he has conquered some of the demons that got in to trouble in the first place. I'm not sure what business he would have had in Vegas...probably not the best place for someone to be who is "rehabbing". But I think that just as serious of an issue is his determination to come back, or lack thereof. I hope that he is able to dig deep and get back to pro form, but I am skeptical. Not trying to be a pessimist, but my contentions are...does he have the discipline needed? I would love nothing more than for him to come back and be beastly for this team. But it will require a fire to be lit, and I'm not talking about a water bong. I think at this point, we should consider signing a Michael Crabtree type, or drafting Kevin White/Amari Cooper.
