Many posters seem to disagree with your approach on how you presented this message, I think it's just fine. Because by presenting it in this manner you are utilizing a defense mechanism where you shield yourself from the grief that comes associated with any thing we lose that we love. 

 

But animal shelter, have them put to sleep or give the dog to them for a chance at another home. A bullet to the base of the skull in the woods is quick and easy too. It's not easy to do, but it's instant and they won't feel anything but for a split second.
