But it's not just you. I wrote Justin off after his, I dunno, 3rd arrest(?) and of course got mercilessly crushed by "leave Justin alone! / he's young and allowed to have fun!" crowd.

And besides if was serious about getting back to the NFL, wouldn't people be running into him at, I don't know...a gym..or a track...or a field, in stead of casinos. <-- crazy talk I know.

You're allowed to have your opinion on Blackmon, and you're right that he's been in a lot of trouble and faces a long road back, but no one knows if he's been working out or if his heart is in the game or not. As someone who's made a mistake before, I'm willing to say he should get a shot at redemption, although the leash should certainly be short.


I don't see why people take such a hard line on Justin Blackmon, positive or negative, when we're about to see what happens in a few months. The odds are stacked against him, but I'm rooting for him. He's shown the potential.
