He also doesn't look THAT out of shape to me. Not to mention that's not a very flattering shirt in general. I don't see a gut, I see a bad picture/shirt. Maybe a different angle or shirt would shed some light. His arms look plenty big. JB also wasn't terribly big to begin with, the guy next to him is obviously like 6-4.


That being said, he's obviously not in football shape. But I think people over react the ability of him to get back where he was. Even with some alcohol problems, its only been 2 years since he was playing and he's young. I honestly don't even see him necessarily having as bad long term effects of drinking. I think he was more just a chronic partier and couldn't control himself. There was a dark time in my own life where I'd get blackout drunk all everyday even when home by myself, that lasted for about a year and a half straight, and besides maybe a little damage to my liver and a couple months for hormone levels to stabilize, anything physiological has passed long long ago. I think he CAN be absolutely fine. Is he mentally ready is another story.
