They don't let you be there when they do it. At a vet, the cost is similar, however, you have to either take the body or have them deliver it for cremation at an additional $400 cost. So it's more about what to do with the body that forced the decision. I'd say you chose the best option. Either way, I'm sure it was a tough time. My dog is 8 and thankfully doing pretty well. I dread the day you are talking about. |
