IMO, he's not even the best of the Harbaughs.  I'd much rather have his brother, John.  College or pro, high school or pee wee.

 

I believe he's extremely overrated.  He propped Stanford when the conference was about as weak as it gets.  He inherited a roster of pro bowlers in the NFL, then imploded along with it.  I honestly don't see what's so great about him as a coach.  He should do fine at Michigan, because recruiting is 3/4 the battle at the college level.

 

Well, personally, I think there is a big difference between "wearing out your welcome" and the level of Shady that Urban Meyer is. Ubran Meyer is the guy that retired from Florida because of a heart condition and then accepted job at Ohio St. pretty shortly after. Harbaugh may not be likeable, but I don't really think he is "shady" like an Urban Meyer.

Saying "he isn't even one of the best Harbaugh's" is pretty misleading. Clever wording, but there is no shame in being worse than one of the best football coaches in the country.

 

I don't think you are giving him enough credit for how he turned Stanford's program around. I also don't think you are giving him enough credit for his work with the 49ers. You're entitled to those opinions, though.
