This play seems to have the potential to leave a Julius Thomas type in single coverage with a FS or nickel (s). 

 

  If it doesn't accomplish that it likely  leaves a favorable matchup elsewhere. 

 

 

Yeah that's along the lines of what I was thinking for a trips/bunch formation. I love the match-up of Julius running that corner. And while Lewis has his issues, I think he has shown to be able to make plays running those deep/skinny post type routes. By the way, this formation (whether we line-up shotgun or not) is more of a pass-oriented formation than the previous one I talked about. They go nickel?

 

We run to the left which is, as you guys pointed out a perfect setup for a crack block. Keep in mind that Dallas used Parnell to pull (i think this was shown on that BCC breakdown of him). With ARob, Lewis, and JT (vs. a safety or a nickel) and a pulling Parnell...that entire left side should open up a lane even I could run through it.
