GO BUCCANEERS - BUCS VS SEAHAWKS GAME DAY THREAD

#10

Quote:What was that for? Onside kicks are for catching up in the last two minutes, not the first quarter.

You illustrated why there are times when Onside kicks are called in the 1st QTR.     The opposition is often not prepared for it.     For a team like the Bucs,   what do they have to lose in attempting an Onside kick early in the game!

Arguably,   the most impactful Onside kick in NFL history was the Saints successful Onside kick at the start of the 3rd QTR against the Colts in the 2009 season Super Bowl.     Sean Payton displayed tremendous guts.    It paid off for Saints,   as that helped change the complexion of the Super Bowl game.
