Troy Polamalu wasn't as consistent as some of the top Safeties of the last 40 years but he was a tremendous play maker.  I recall a playoff game in Cincinnati in which Polamalu was the most differential player.      Including,  an interception that belongs on any all time highlight reel.   That game helped propel the Steelers on the path to an eventual Super Bowl Championship a few weeks later.
