Jacksonville Jaguars Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (race for the #1 overall pick)

Quote:No, if both teams went 0-16, strength of schedule, or opponents combined win loss record, decides who is worse. Right now, Tampa has the weaker schedule, so they would get the #1 pick. The coin flip only occurs if strength of schedule is identical.

Of course, that applies no matter what our record is as long as Tampa Bay has the same number of losses.

There obviously is something else nobody ever talks about that breaks draft order ties because last year the Jets and Titans had the same record and SOS, but no coin flip was necessary. Why not?
