Maybe its just my opinion, but i think home field advantage, especially at the NFL level is a tad overrated. Of course the extremes occur, like weather. You know, really hot in florida in September or really cold in Chicago or Greenbay in December. I think that plays an affect of the games, but as far as fan wise, while the NFL is king and all, i don't think the stadiums get as loud as per say College football in the south or even soccer matches in Europe ( notice my avatar). 

 

My point is, and i say this as a Jaguars season ticket holder, I'm not as concerned about having that many road games in a row. Yes, we got screwed from 9/25 though 10/27, as in away games in a row, plus just having one home game in like 6 games. But if you look at the schedule, and theres a lot of winnable games. 

 

Just look at our first two games. Both winnable and at home in September. Once we get past the bye, its a pretty breezy schedule, minus San Diego at home and as New Orleans. 

 

I don't like complaining about the schedule and things like home field advantage because as a life long NFL fan, that does not really play into affect. As i said, NFL stadiums are not as rowdy as one thinks, the players are the elites and unless the weather is in extremes, things are not going to affect them. I think at the end of the day, if your gonna be good, you will be good. PERIOD. Does not matter how many home games or away games you play in a row, the NFL is the NFL and anything can happen to any team.
