I can understand how this limited observation would lead you to that conclusion.

Your underestimating these three completely.

 

Dave is very animated in a laid back manner, there is a steel trap mind that is three steps ahead of you no matter where you turn, like Larry Bird.

Gus is very animated in a boisterious manner and if you fail to sense the intelligence, it is at your peril.

Shad is an extremely successful businessman, if you missed his remark "the pressure is on" and the laugh's in the room, what you missed is that the pressure is always on with Shad.

Every one in that room knows that, flawless execution is the minimum standard.

By the way, Lamping was the business manager for the Pats, pehaps the best run franchise in the league.
When they have no time,  they think about it!
