Personally I'm extremely happy with our first three picks. I believe all 3 are a good combination of need and value. All 3 have come from good pro style programs and are high character guys with no red flags.


All are upgrades to the team


Fowler - A. - talent wise was pretty much near to or on par with Williams but need wise LEO was far greater than 3 tech. Superstar potential, and can play all 3 downs. If given a more settled position than he got at Florida production will greatly improve.


Yeldon - B+ - some think this was a reach, Dave had he rated in the top tier of running backs. No point risking not taking him if he's your guy. Complete back with much better vision, instincts, pass catching, blocking than any back selected after him in the draft. Not exceptional speed but Extremely elusive, and able to break tackles and gain an extra 2-3 yards on every run. Exceptional red zone conversion. LT loved the pick, as do I. Pro comparison to LeVeon Bell. Can't argue with that. Star potential


AJ Cann - A - Exceptional value here and adds quality and by proxy depth to the OLine. Will beat out Beadles for the LG spot in my opinion. The line is really coming together. Has good first step power and stays on his blocks well. Will be a starter for 10 years. Big body which will offer Blake more protection and open big lanes for Yeldon


I really liked our draft last year, and I think this years is also going to be a home run. All 3 picks should be starters and instantly improve us.


I expect us to take Josh Shaw and convert him to FS in the 4th unless they really like Bennett (DT) or Clemmings (OT)
