Thanks. We have developed an unconventional way of thinking and drafting under Pete Carroll and John Schneider. They stick to their draft boards and don't care what Mel Kiper's of the world think about them for drafting Bruce Irvin in the 1st or Russell Wilson in the 3rd round.

 

But it's hard to watch our draft. As every fan I have a list of players I want us to draft and in 6 drafts under Carroll and Schneider I don't think we draft a single one of them. It's probably better so because most of them didn't become what I expect them to be. That's why I'll never be a professional scout or GM.

 

It's also almost impossible to guess which player we'll draft (that's probably true for most teams, but some teams are far more predictable). I was right about Kristjan Sokoli this year, only I expect him a round earlier. So maybe I have finally figure them out. We'll see next year.

I was just saying our draft wasn't terrible (as you called it) and I didn't say it was better than yours. I was also giving credit to Jaguars for having a top 5 draft. Of course it's just my opinion, which doesn't mean much, but most of the media experts agree with that.

 

Our draft is probably graded somewhere in the middle, but I don't really care about that. Teams are not drafting for getting a good draft grades from draftnicks, they are drafting players who (they believe) can help them win. Right now every team is feeling confident they drafted the best or right players, but only time will tell which teams had a good draft. 

 

About Graham: I consider him as a part of our 2015 draft, but yes, when grading rookie draft classes it's probably not fair to include him.
