Yes, long-term dominance is worth another season like this.
No, we can't field such a depressing team two seasons in a row.
Draft Bridgewater this year, but still tank the season for Winston.

Maybe Winston isn't that good. But that argument is not under consideration here. Assume for this argument that he is. Wouldn't the Jags be better off long-term getting the #1 pick in 2015 and using it on Winston? Wouldn't Carolina have been better off not drafting Cam Newton and getting Andrew Luck in 2012?
 

Absolutely not! Do you really want to pass on a QB in this draft of the caliber of Bridgewater, Mariota, or Manziel for the hope that Winston is available in 2015? What if he gets injured? What if he is busted? What if he decides to play another sport? You don't pass on a bird in the hand for 2 in the bush.
