He's still got to get on the field if he plans on getting another team to pony up what he expects to be paid, right?

 

If he looks like he's sandbagging it, no team is going to touch him. 

 

I really hope he's not holding back to avoid injury.  That's never been his style.  I just think he's coming back from a couple of pretty significant surgeries, both of which could potentially end a career for an NFL running back.  He managed to come back from the microfracture surgery on his knee, but it remains to be seen if he can rebound from the Lisfranc surgery.

 

By the way.  When that knee surgery was revealed, every bit of trade value he had went right out the window.  That would have been right around the same time the dog whimperer claims he was howling to trade him.  It was already too late.
