Yes you should make your child go to school as a boy, yes your child should have therapy if needed to help them understand boys and girls are natural different and that's good, accepting what they are is apart of the child rearing process. Children pretend to be all kinds of things, from cats to dogs, aliens, cowboys, Indians, princesses, and yes even the opposite gender. PARENTING comes in by explaining to a child this is pretend, this is reality, this is who you are, this is acceptable this is not. My oldest boy at one point played with his sister and four female cousins so much he said to me one day, daddy I wish I was a girl so I could do all the things they do. So is my Son "transgender" or is he just displaying a desire to be included with his playmates. According to that psychology I should have said 'Well soon maybe your a girl on the inside, you should explore that and I'll accept you no matter what'. That's garbage, I took him outside tossed the ball around, he made friends with the neighbors son and he's a normal 8 year old boy today.
