She may not have done THIS to gain publicity, but she sure isn't shying away from it.

 

Again, she can do whatever she wants and live her life anyway she wants.  Just because people don't think she deserves a sports trophy based on courage and life experiences, doesn't mean they hate her, what she is doing, or what she stands for.
