thats was my logic as well... the whole "bradley was the only one who hired him" i dont completely buy, but i dont subcribe to the theory he was hired as a contingency, as much anymore... dave and gus both have something to do with the hiring process, if they didnt i would feel something is wrong... but if gus was the guy who brought him to the table, it would be stupid if he felt as though Doug could take his job.. so i dont think he was looked at or pursued as a contingency initially... but who's to say dave didnt jump on board with this thought in the back of his mind.
