NAACP Leader, "I Do Consider Myself Black"

Here is a good reason, and one that couldn't be answered earlier.  Please name one conservative that has ever done what these two have done, and provide your evidence.

I absolutely agree that not all liberals lie about who they really are for financial or status gain, but this phenomena seems to be confined to the liberal wing regarding politics.
It's unlikely that I'd find one. Being "transracial" wouldn't benefit a Republican politician at all, because as FBT pointed out, minority populations are essentially hard-wired to vote Democratic as this point.

What does seem to be a uniquely Republican form of scandal is covering up your sexual orientation. Larry Craig, one easy example, consistently voted against the extension of equal rights to homosexual couples, then was caught in the bathroom of the Minneapolis airport soliciting sexual favors from a man. Randy Boehning, who voted against an anti-discrimination bill, was caught sending explicit pictures on a gay singles app. David Dreier has voted against gay rights legislation for years, yet allegation after allegation have popped up about him having sex with his male staffers, including at least one long-term relationship.

Point being, each side lies about what's important to their voters. That's not to condone what Elizabeth Warren (who is a terrible legislator, btw) and Rachel Dolezal did. I could scour the web for days and I'd probably never find a report of a Republican pretending to be black, because that wouldn't win them any votes. I can find example after example of Republican politicians being outed as gay after a lengthy career opposing gay rights, and to me, that's no better than what Warren and Dolezal did.
