Holy crap. Short answer to the quote--yes, absolutely, and it is a long settled principal of law and common sense that those who choose to enter the public eye can or SHOULD expect greater scrutiny and even have a higher standard when it comes winning a lawsuit for libel or slander.


They' have a whole different standard to win as opposed to you or me....assuming you aren't a celebrity or elected official, mind you.


Not sure how Bruce Jenner enters this conversation, but anyone who enters the public eye can and should expect a higher level of ridicule. Jared certainly chose to enter the public eye.
