It's not a matter of if they are able to deal listen to her and do what she says.....they have to, or there will be consequences.  If you start taking their cash for disrespecting a female coach, I bet they become more accepting.

 

That's not necessarily true though, is it? Most every driver in the country is aware of the financial consequences of Driving while Under the Influence and yet, courts are filled with these cases every day, and even with repeat offenders. Thinking about the player-to-coach interaction, there are a lot more ways to resist and even undermine coaching than by outright defiance.

 

Look, I'm not saying that there isn't a structure in place for her to succeed, but to think that every 20-something on that roster who is faced with his first interaction with a female football coach is going to step in line with a sharp attitude is a bit far-fetched in my opinion. Should they? Absolutely. Will they? I'm not so certain about that.
