The good news here is that this is the preseason, so we're barely getting a glimpse of the playbook, and the play calling is already much better than we've seen in recent years.   

 

The play calling has been great, there should've been 3 passing touchdowns so far (Harbor's drop, Hurns drop, inaccurate ball/drop by Denard Robinson), all of those situations were created by Olson's play calling. All you can ask from an O coordinator is to put players in a position to succeed, I think he's doing that. The Achilles Heel of the Jaguars offense (Imo) are the receivers, I don't know if any of these guys can consistently separate and catch the ball, time will tell. Either way I expect David Caldwell to target an Alpha no-doubt #1 receiver in next years draft, it's been a long time since the Jags had a true #1 that can threaten every level of the field, like Jimmy Smith did.
