In many ways, Stan Kroenke is a modern day version of Georgia Frontiere. Both put losing products on the field and alienated their local fan bases. It's one thing to field bad teams. It's another to use that as a springboard to move out of the market.

The biggest difference between Kroenke and Frontiere is that Kroenke has a much greater business sense than Frontiere ever did. Kroenke has yet to field even a .500 team but seems adept at playing business poker.
