Well, I got this one wrong. I really didn't think Caldwell would give up his veteran stud and go with an unproven first-year that, frankly, stunk in college and couldn't make an AFL roster last year. To me, this kind of feels like replacing Mark Brunell with John Brantley. I hope I'm wrong again, and Myers is a long-term fixture. I just remember how many kickers we went through replacing Mike Hollis and how long it took the Jags to land Scobee, and the thought of giving up a proven, reliable vet like Scobee for another one of those young guys with a big leg that flame out so often scares me. The Jags will be in a lot of close games this year, and if Myers blows two GW FGs that Scobee would have hit, we're toast.
